Washington County Fair School Day, Aug. 28th
August 23, 2013
Posted by on Wednesday, August 28th, is School Day at the Washington county fair. Admission is free to those who enter with a school (or homeschool) group.
The families of Fayetteville NWACHEA plan to meet and go in together as a group at 10 a.m (when the gate opens). We will tour the fair, looking at all the animals and crafts. The hog show is being held that day, for those who are interested. Some families will be bringing sack lunches, and going to a park to eat and fellowship after they finish at the fairgrounds.
Homeschool families from the area are invited to join the group. No RSVP needed. You DO NOT have to be a member of NWACHEA, and you DO NOT have to remain with the group once inside – but you DO have to enter at the same time in order to be admitted at no charge. The gate is on the left when you enter the parking lot. Please arrive *BEFORE* 10 a.m. so the group can go in promptly when the gate opens. (Sorry, but we cannot wait for latecomers, or make arrangements for individual families to enter the fair at no charge.)
Questions? Please visit the Washington County Fair website. Directions and parking info can be found under the ‘HOME’ tab.
