Homeschool Helps Workshop – LEARNING STYLES – Tuesday, Feb. 24

Parents are invited to a workshop on “Learning Styles” at the Circle of Life Hospice Building in Springdale/Tontitown on Tuesday, February 24, at 7:00 pm.

We will be in a different room this time so look for a directional sign in the lobby.

Learning Styles
This topic is taught at almost every homeschool convention for a good reason; it is so applicable to what we do.  Knowing about your own and your children’s styles can guide you in how you present material, which curriculum you use, how to help your student study for a test, etc.
Learning modalities (auditory, visual, kinesthetic/tactile), learning styles (4 types), and love languages will be covered.
This is a FREE public workshop, but donations are accepted to help cover the cost of handouts. You do not need to be a member of any homeschool organization to attend.

No childcare is provided. Nursing infants and babes in arms are welcome, but please do not bring older children.

Directions:

From I49 (use to be called I540), take the Holiday Inn exit in Springdale (exit 72) and go west toward Tontitown.
Near Tontitown, turn right at the Jones Rd. stoplight. There is a Harps on the right at that intersection.
Circle of Life is the first building on the right after Harps, 901 Jones Rd.
It says “Circle of Life” on the building, but at the entrance there is a sign that says “Willard and Pat Walker Family Center” and another that says “Earlene Howard Hospice Home”.

Hope to see you there!
