Free “Lots of Little Ones, Lots of Levels” Workshop – Oct. 22
October 6, 2015
Posted by on Mark your calendar and plan to attend a FREE Homeschool Helps workshop on the topic of “Lots of Little Ones, Lots of Levels” on Thursday, October 22, at 7:00 p.m. at the Circle of Life Hospice Building in Springdale/Tontitown.
Lots of Little Ones, Lots of Levels
This workshop is for larger families who are schooling multiple levels at one time and/or caring for babies and toddlers while trying to homeschool. It is not a prescription for how to schedule your day to make everything run smoothly. It is about reality, expectations, and encouragement. Marni is mother to eight and currently homeschools her youngest four aged 13-18.
– This is a FREE workshop, but donations are accepted to help cover the cost of handouts.
– RSVP is not needed.
– Childcare is NOT provided; nursing infants and babes in arms are welcome, but we respectfully ask that you please do not bring other children.
Directions:
From I49, take the Holiday Inn exit in Springdale (exit 72) and go west toward Tontitown.
Near Tontitown, turn right at the Jones Rd. stoplight. There is a Harps on the right at that intersection.
Circle of Life is the first building on the right after Harps, 901 Jones Rd.
It says “Circle of Life” on the building, but at the entrance there is a sign that says “Willard and Pat Walker Family Center” and another that says “Earlene Howard Hospice Home”.
[Please note: Homeschool Helps workshops are not sponsored by any support group; you do not have to be a member of NWACHEA or any other group to attend. The presenters, Marni Hendrix and Shelley Kinder, are veteran homeschool moms who organize the workshops to share their knowledge and experience with other parents.]
