Workshop: GETTING STARTED HOMESCHOOLING – July 26th in Bentonville

If you missed the July 12th workshop on the topic of Getting Started Homeschooling, there is one more opportunity to attend the presentation on Tuesday, July 26th, in Bentonville! See details below!

Please note:  the presenters have scheduled two of the same workshop to accommodate people coming from different directions and with varying schedules.  These two workshops are identical.

Please come to a workshop about “Getting Started Homeschooling” on either of these dates:

Tuesday, July 12, in Springdale (Tontitown) at 7:00 pm, at the Circle of Life Hospice building at 901 Jones Road.

Tuesday, July 26, in Bentonville at 7:00 pm, at the Circle of Life Hospice building at 1201 NE Legacy Pkwy.

Getting Started Homeschooling
Information on how to file Arkansas intent-to-homeschool forms, encouragement and what to expect for the first year, local support groups, legal support organizations, requirements and the law, and more.

If you know someone who is considering homeschooling for the first time, or someone who started last year but has never attended a workshop like this, please invite them.

This is a FREE workshop, but donations are accepted to help cover the cost of handouts.

RSVP’s are not needed.  It’s OK to come late or leave early if necessary. Nursing infants and babes in arms are welcome but no childcare is provided, so please be considerate of others and do not bring older children who may have trouble sitting quietly through the presentation.
