Free Elementary Teaching Tips Workshop – Monday, Aug. 1

Mark your calendar and plan to attend a FREE Homeschool Helps workshop on the topic of  “Teaching Tips for the Elementary Grades (K-6th)” on Monday, August 1, at 7:00 pm, at the Circle of Life Hospice Building in Springdale/Tontitown.

Teaching Tips for the Elementary Grades (K-6th)
Tips for teaching each of the subjects, managing the school day, making school efficient and meaningful, and choosing books at the library.
– This is a FREE workshop, but donations are accepted to help cover the cost of handouts.
– RSVP is not needed.
– Childcare is NOT provided; nursing infants and babes in arms are welcome, but we respectfully ask that you please do not bring other children.

Directions:
From I49, take the Holiday Inn exit in Springdale (exit 72) and go west toward Tontitown.
Near Tontitown, turn right at the Jones Rd. stoplight. There is a Harps on the right at that intersection.
Circle of Life is the first building on the right after Harps, 901 Jones Rd.
It says “Circle of Life” on the building, but at the entrance there is a sign that says “Willard and Pat Walker Family Center” and another that says “Earlene Howard Hospice Home”.

[Please note: Homeschool Helps workshops are not sponsored by any support group; you do not have to be a member of NWACHEA or any other group to attend. The presenters, Marni Hendrix and Shelley Kinder, are veteran homeschool moms who organize the workshops to share their knowledge and experience with other parents.]
