Fayetteville NWACHEA Back-to-School Park Day, Aug. 25th
August 11, 2016
Posted by on Join Fayetteville/Springdale NWACHEA families for a back-to-school park play day on Thursday, August 25th, from 1-3 p.m. at C.L. “Charlie” and Willie George Park at 4023 Hylton Rd. in Springdale. The park is located just off Don Tyson Pkwy. and east of Butterfield Coach Rd. Come any time between 1 and 3, and stay for as long as you’d like. Bring a picnic lunch — or dinner, depending on how long you want to hang around! — for your family if you’d like to eat at the park. If you have a friend who is currently homeschooling (or interested in doing so) and would like to meet families in the NWACHEA group, please feel free to invite them! It’s a good opportunity to see if the Fayetteville/Springdale group is a good fit for your family before the school year gets too far underway.
The park offers a splash pad, playground equipment for all ages, lots of benches, a pavilion with picnic tables for eating your lunch, and lots of open green space for kids to run and play. We’ll plan to meet at the pavilion by the splash pad. Looking forward to seeing familiar faces and new ones, as well!
We anticipate scheduling the fall planning meeting within two weeks of this event, so look for more info in the upcoming weeks.
