FREE Homeschooling Workshop – Monday, August 28th
July 26, 2017
Posted by on You are invited to a FREE homeschooling workshop entitled “Teaching Tips for Grades K-6th” on Monday, August 28th, at 7:00PM at the Circle of Life Hospice Building in Springdale/Tontitown.
If in the past you have attended “Teaching Tips for the Elementary Grades,” then you have already heard the material in this workshop. The workshop had gotten too long so Marni decided to split it in two — this one and “The Nitty Gritty of Homeschooling” (which will be presented on August 7th).
Teaching Tips for Grades K-6th – State standards, then practical tips for teaching Reading, Writing, Math, Social Studies, and Science in grades K-6th.
This is a FREE workshop, but donations are accepted to help cover the cost of handouts.
RSVP’s are not needed. It’s OK to come late or leave early.
There will be no childcare provided. Nursing infants and babes in arms are welcome, but please do not bring older children.
Directions:
From I49, take the Holiday Inn exit in Springdale (exit 72) and go west toward Tontitown.
Near Tontitown, turn right at the Jones Rd. stoplight. There is a Harps on the right at that intersection.
Circle of Life is the first building on the right after Harps, 901 Jones Rd.
It says “Circle of Life” on the building, but at the entrance there is a
sign that says “Willard and Pat Walker Family Center” and another that says “Earlene Howard Hospice Home.”
